Frequently asked questions

Is your question is not listed? Contact us HERE. We will do our best to get back to you within 24 hours.

Will this stick to my handlebar/stem and how should I prep the surface for the 3M VHB adhesive?

Yes - on clean, flat, non-textured areas (e.g., the flat tops of many bars or a smooth stem face). Wipe the area with isopropyl alcohol (no household cleaners), let it dry, then apply at room temperature (around 18 - 38°C). Press firmly for 30+ seconds.

Is it compatible with both Garmin® and Wahoo® quarter-turn devices, and how do I swap the plates?

Yes. Two stainless screws thread into brass inserts so you can switch between the Garmin®-compatible and Wahoo®-compatible plates. To use, attach your preferred plate, align your device’s tabs with the plate, then quarter-turn (about 90°) to lock until it clicks/feels secure. Always check it’s fully engaged before riding.

Are the included quarter-turn plates official Garmin/Wahoo parts?

No. The plates are third-party components (not official Garmin or Wahoo). They’re selected for fit and durability and are checked as part of our assembly, but they are not endorsed, approved, or certified by Garmin or Wahoo.

Can I mount other quarter-turn accessories (e.g., lights) and where else can I place the mount?

Any accessory that uses the Garmin® or Wahoo® quarter-turn interface can clip in (lights, sensors, etc.). Beyond the bike, you can place the adhesive base on smooth, flat plastic or metal - e.g., a trailer panel, workbench, cupboard, or a painted wall (smooth finish). Adhesion depends on surface prep and texture; avoid porous, dusty, or highly textured coatings. For high-vibration setups or heavier accessories, consider a secondary safety tether.
