Warranty policy

Last updated: 28 September 2025

At Draaft, we stand behind the quality of our products. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered by our voluntary manufacturer’s warranty and how to request service. It sits alongside our other policies and does not affect your statutory rights.

1) Warranty period

- Standard warranty: 12 months from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

- Scope: Applies to Draaft‑branded products purchased directly from draaft.co.uk or our official sales channels.

- Marketplace orders (e.g., Etsy): Please contact us using the process below and include your marketplace order ID; we’ll handle your claim in line with this policy and the marketplace’s procedures.

Note: If applicable law in your location provides a longer mandatory guarantee (e.g., the EU 2‑year legal guarantee for consumers), that longer period will apply to your statutory rights. Our voluntary warranty remains 12 months unless we state otherwise for a specific product.

2) What’s covered

Defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal, intended use, including (by way of example):

- Structural failures or cracks in product bodies or mounts not caused by impact or misuse.

- Manufacturing defects in magnets, fasteners, or included adapters.

- Missing parts received on delivery.

Remedies we provide (at our option): repair, replacement with the same or a functionally equivalent product, or a refund if repair or replacement is not possible within a reasonable time.

3) What’s not covered

This warranty does not cover:

- Wear and tear or cosmetic damage (scratches, scuffs, colour fade) that do not affect function.

- Accidental damage, misuse or improper installation, including use with incompatible devices or mounts, overtightening, impact damage, crushing, or exposure to solvents.

- Modifications or third‑party alterations, including 3D‑printed or aftermarket parts not supplied by Draaft.

- Environmental damage (e.g., corrosion or liquid ingress) arising from conditions beyond intended indoor/outdoor use guidance.

- Loss or theft, consumables, and accessories identified as replaceable wear parts.

- Products with removed or defaced identifiers, or without reasonable proof of purchase.

4) Who’s covered & transferability

- The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non‑transferable.

- Commercial, rental or demo use is excluded unless agreed by Draaft in writing.

5) How to make a claim

Please contact us before returning any item so we can troubleshoot and issue return instructions.

1. Email: info@draaft.co.uk
Subject: Warranty Claim – [Order # / Marketplace Order ID]

2. Include: your name, order number, product name, date of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear photos/video showing the problem and installation.

3. We’ll respond within 2 business days with next steps. If a return is needed, we’ll provide an RMA and return address.

Return shipping:

- If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect under warranty, Draaft will cover reasonable return postage or provide a prepaid label (where available) and cover outbound shipping of the repaired/replacement unit.

- If the item is found not to be defective or is ineligible, we will return it at your cost or offer a paid repair/replacement where feasible.

6) Assessment & timelines

- We aim to assess warranty items within 7 business days of receipt and to complete repair/replacement within a reasonable time. If parts are out of stock, we’ll keep you updated and may offer an alternative of equal or better performance.

7) Compatibility & installation

Please follow any product‑specific compatibility and installation guidance provided on product pages or instructions. Damage arising from incorrect installation or incompatible devices/mounts is not covered.

8) Relationship to your statutory rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy affects consumer rights provided by law (for example, under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your short‑term right to reject faulty goods). Where local law grants you additional mandatory rights (such as repair, replacement, price reduction or refund), those rights apply alongside this warranty.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draaft’s liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product. This warranty provides specific rights; you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.
